providence: ada books: publicly complex



one of the best readings of the Oh One Arrow season was had in providence, rhode island (may 3rd, 2007), so we have high hopes for saturday night!

come hear flim forum poets John Cotter, Jennifer Karmin, Matthew Klane, Deborah Poe, + Kate Schapira read from A Sing Economy + Oh One Arrow + new work.

Kate Schapira organized this event. she's published three chapbooks; hopefully at least one will be available for purchase. her poetry has appeared in lots of journals, including word for/word, ecopoetics, + 580 split.

Deborah Poe wrote Our Parenthetical Ontology (Custom Words 2008) + chapbooks from Furniture_Press + Stockport Flats Press. Her work has recently appeared in Denver Quarterly, Copper Nickel, + Drunken Boat.

John Cotter’s fiction + poetry have appeared in dozens of publications including 3rd Bed, Hanging Loose, + Good Foot. as Poetry Editor for the review site Open Letters Monthly, John's published critical work on contemporary novelists, poets, + translators.

Jennifer Karmin curates the Red Rover Series with fiction writer Amina Cain + is a founding member of the public art group Anti Gravity Surprise. Recent poems appear in Bird Dog, MoonLit, Womb, Seven Corners, The City Visible: Chicago Poetry for the New Century, + Growing Up Girl: An Anthology of Voices from Marginalized Spaces.

Matthew Klane is co-editor at Flim Forum Press. His chapbooks include Friend Delighting the Eloquent, Sorrow Songs, The- Associated Press, + The Meister-Reich Experiments. Other work can be found in Plantarchy!, string of small machines, + wordfor/word.
